Has anybody some Vallejo/Humbrol/Revell equivalencies @ hand for Egyptian 'Sand and Spinach' and 'Nile Valley' camo schemes. The FS numbers have not necessarily equivalencies in these brands.
It's for 1/300 models so lighter is better.
Thanks
Henk

I just got some color prints off of the internet, and then matched the colors by eye.

I can't recall 100%, but you should look at the Egyptian and Iraqi Sand bottles, as well as some of their others.

Used a fairly dark green, and olive drab too, if I recall, for the other colors.

One of the two looks a bit too light, and yellow at first, but once I added graphite wing-panel line detailing with a fine, mechanical pencil, and added the other colors, it looked great.

For Israeli Sand, I went with a tan-ish color of craft paint, and added a bit of white to it, to get the proper color.

I've also just been doing some 1/300th Egyptian and Israeli aircraft.

I'm using Humbrol and found that for the Egypitain schemes the Humbrol 121 Sand colour was a good match for the base colour, with Humbrol 116 Dark Green for the 'Spinach'.

For the 3-colour Egyptian scheme I used 121 Sand + bands of 120 Light Green overlayed with 116 Dark Green down the centre or bands the other way round (116 Dark Green with 120 Light Green down the middle).

Undersides of Humbrol 122 (tins of which I still have) for the undersides or use Humbrol 23 Sky Blue with a bit of white added.

Israeli colours are 119+120+121+122.
