Ancient relics in the form of metal buttons that predate velcro do still exist, and people do collect them. |

Plastic buttons? Maybe? From those halcyon days of BDUs? No, I suppose not. And it's more like they seem to gather in the bottom of my duffle bag instead of me actually "collecting" them

I'm not sure I've ever come across someone who only collects buttons. IME, someone who is after buttons is someone who focuses on any and all insignia worn by specific Regiments, including pouch badges, waist belt clasps, Officers' cord bosses, etc. |
