Talking about ones given to other people rather than awarded to yourself (but, well done anyway !). Do you collect medals ? Properly, not just "my grandad left me his" (which is cool, but not really collecting!). |

Yes, and the posthumous groups always make me feel a little sad. The fact that I have them means that a family who once grieved for a lost son, husband or father no longer cares. But I take solace in that I may be the last person on earth who remembers that a particular soldier ever lived, fought and died. |
