Express your answers in days Days?? I wouldn't last hours
.. TBF the legion would have to be pretty desperate to recruit a (slighty) over weight bloke closing in on 40

Today: 2 days max. Had I joined the FFL, which I had considered but my parents were dead set against, vice the USMC back in 1990 then 5 to 15 years. |

How long does it take to get off the bus into the first line up? |

Up to the point where the recruiting sergeant kicked my cane out from under me and watched me fall down. Or fell down laughing himself. |

Hell, I remember my time at PI (20+ years ago), right now I doubt I could go through more than the first couple of days (receiving) before my first coronary
we had a guy that was 22 with us, and we called him "Grandpa". I could not imagine doing all of that again at age 40. Not having been in the FFL I don't know for sure, but if I was there, now, I'd have a reasonable expectation of sudden death within the first week. Chalfant |

I'd make it about 2 days being fat and old but Being an Ex soldier I know how to hide but they would find me for sure in the chow line and I would get kicked

If I'd gone after my USMC service, 5 to 15 years (maybe). Now? I wouldn't waste their time. I can kill myself at home and spare the expense. |
