I've seen these LEGO game sets in the stores for awhile now, and I am surprised no one here has discussed them?

… or I've somehow missed it?

Anyhoo, has anyone played and/or seen these?

I see they're reviewed on boardgamegeek.com

They kind of look like fun! grin

I've got three of them… they're fun little sets. Not much in the way of gameplay depth, however.

Still got to pick up Draida Bay.

My kids have a few of them, it's a fun idea and a good intro to gaming, I just wish they used the regular size minifigs rather than their smaller games style figures- it would have been nice to mix regular lego knights, samurai, ninja etc in with it. (not that it couldn't be scaled up quite easily but some orc minifigs would have been handy… roll on lord of the rings lego….)

The rules are free downloads and seem easily adaptable to regular-sized minifigs.

I bought three of them for my 5-year-old son this Christmas. Quite fun and a good introduction to adventure/RPG games.

As with all the LEGO boardgames, they have their basic rules, then a number of optional rules specifically as a guide for creating your own rules. Great inspiration for new gamers.
