I have not been able to locate any discussion on TMP related to reviews of 15mm figures for this war. I know Old Glory 15's has a small range, but not sure who else might. Can anyone help?

Irregular makes a 15mm range for the RJW. In 15mm, wouldn't just about any WWI Russian work?

Well, depends how anal you are about the uniform. The cap is different, no visor in RJW.

Figure companies:
Falcon UK (owned by an American) has a nice Japanese range.
Irregular are ok. Not the best poses or sculpting.
Old Glory are good.
I happen to be a fan of the old Frontier colonial range which included Japanese and Russians.

My collection is a mixture of Frontier and Irregular for the RJW.

I have one blog post of a battle I ran:

Oh. I thought the Russian caps did have a visor, but this is not my period at all.

The problem I had with Old Glory Russians were the fact they did not have bayonets. I was under the impression that the Russians kept bayonets fixed most of the time. I like their Japanese. I mixed them with Falcon Japanese, which were very compatible and could be based on the same stand.

Russians were in transition on the caps. So either depending on time frame and which group of Russians you are modeling. Troops from the West were more likely to have the latest up to date equipment.

Somewhere I have a photo book on the war from right after it happened full of newspaper photos that show both caps in use.

I am not sure Bloodaxe is still in business, I sent an order about six months ago and go no response. They did not respond to emails.
