If so, what 15mm figures did you use for Jason and his brave crew?

I love what Matakishi did here:

I would love to know if anyone has done anything like it in 15mm.

Or is 1/72 the best option?

Wow. I had that comic book as a kid. Sadly, thrown out by my parents along with the rest of my collection when I went into the Army many years ago.

Brought back some pleasant memories, though. Thank you for posting it!

I've not done it in 15s but with 28s I used Foundry's line plus GW old plastic skellies and their Dogs of War giant.

If I were doing it today I'd probably still do it in 28mm with the plastics skellies from Wargames Factory as they are nice and cheap and come with Greek weapons.

To be honest having looked at most of the 15mm suppliers I know they seem to lack in details compared to those 1/72 sets.

I wonder if it the age of the figures / moulds? I would have thought the ancient ranges where some of the first to be made and compared to the newer ranges (e.g. Splintered Light / Khurasan) they are less detailed or just plain.

Given the small number of figures needed I would give it serious thought to use 25mm+ figures (see link for an interesting set – I know we both love 15s but I'm stumped) and use SoBH or wait for Songs of Gods and Heroes!

In 15mm now you can get Greek themed skeles from 15mm.co.uk

I once gamed an SF scenario, Jason & the Astronauts:

Any NEW and/or BETTER options for 15mm since the topic was last discussed?

Thanks

Talos is the problem. There is one from Splintered Light but it's more suited to 10mm.
There is a cyclops from Alternative Armies which I use.

Excellent options. I really like those rowers too!

Thanks so much.
