Sorry Bill – why did I put it in TMP Talk?

Good idea except for the subject… lol!

These plastics look great painted up historically by the way. There are quite a few techniques to make sure the paint stays put these days too. If it wasn't for the cost of vehicles, I think we would see a lot more people playing with these in wargames.

Don't be using my army men to make commie anti-war pictures.

And what a cheat, painted them after they were in place. A real artist would have used the natural plastic color to make the image appear.

Just out of curiosity, what makes that picture "commie" or "anti-war"?

The linked photo is of a Chinese Soldier, from 1938 -- which is prior to the Peoples Revolution, I believe? Not sure the soldier is a communist. Not sure how it is anti-war, either. Cheers!

After having attended art school and knowing fine art types, I am sure the overall message is one of toys corrupting the young and fulfilling their destiny of protecting the corporations which controls the state… or some such..
Still brilliant idea and excellent execution! There was definitely some time and thought put into that piece.

Isn't the point that it is a Chinese soldier made of (plastic) chinese soldiers??
