Hi All,

I'm interested in getting into 3mm ultra-modern. Mostly 'cause they look really cool, and I want something different to paint up.

I'd be interested in doing small combined arms actions, usuing probably Hind Commander. I don't need something complicated, but with maybe 10-15 units each side.

Anyone have some suggestions on:

1) Where to find some good order of battles so I can collect a reasonably accurate force?

2) Experience with Hind Commander, is this the best rule set for what I'm looking for?

Thanks!

Hey Harold,

I have been playing "Hind Commander" using O8 1:600 scale minis. I really don't think they will work for what you need. These rules do not use historical OBs and the total number of units per side is usually over 50. You may want to try a small game of Cold War Commander.

Worth checking into.

Modern war is very deadly.

Thanks for the responses. Does Hind Commander use point systems?

Yes, you build your force based on points (with restrictions on numbers of certain types of units), not TO&Es.
