Only seen the gamesworkshop store in Wellington. Never found wargames shop in Auckland.

Maybe Battlefront should open one?

There's a GW store in St Lukes Mall. There used to be a BF store, but they folded it. The only other one I know of is a model railway / general hobby shop in Newmarket. Can't remember the street, but if it's still there, I'm sure it will google up.

For GW or FOW type products go to Vagabond games on the 2nd floor in the Sky City Metro complex on Queen Street (ie the movie theatres). Pretty good range of FoW. Has several gaming tables. They also have a store in Takapuna.

The model shop in Newmarket is Modelair in Kent St – small range of FoW but good range of plastic kits and paints.

For card type games there is King of Cards in the Queen's Arcade at the bottom of Queen St.

I used to know a good one in Wellington.
But that literally is on the other side of the North Island.
Sorry.

How did I miss Vagabond games??? How long have they been there?

Vagabond have been in Takapuna and Hamilton for at least five or six years, but I only found the one in the Sky City Metro centre earlier this year.

Their Hamilton store was quite impressive in terms of size, but I believe they have recently relocated it and I haven't had a chance to visit the new one yet.
