Well I took advantage of the 10% Christmas special from Trident aka Miniature Service Center this month to start up my 40mm medieval army. I bought a dozen crssbows and paid for 11 getting 1 for free. When I got the order it turned out the charged me for 12 and I didn't get a free figure. No big deal to me being 3 dollars or so. Loved the figures. Well I got an e-mail from them apologizing for it and sending me a link to their new leader figures. One of which was King Richard the Lionheart. Very nice and selling for around $6.00 USD. Well I forgot about out the whole thing. Well today in the mail came this little box from Trident. In it were 2 more crossbows and a King Richard figure as a gift. The figure is very nice with 2 heads for open help or closed helm. Nice standing pose pointing. He also comes with a nice blanc sheild and some weapons. One arm is loose as well to adjust the pose.

I plan on using Sash and Sabre Normans for my rank and file and get my feudal knights and crossbows from Trident.

Anyway job well done and the figures are just wonderful and hey I got some figures for Christmas. been a long time.
