How many Era's do you personally have enough miniatures of both sides to play a game of at least 2 people. For me it is: 15mm WWII (FOW) 28mm WWII (Arc of Fire) WWI Planes (WOW) 15mm ECW (1644) 15mm AWI (Patriots & Loyalists) 15mm ACW (ODGW) 28mm Desert Storm (Arc of Fire) |

John; I have a better idea than Sedan Chair Racing. We reycle all the old Cold War tanks, like the Greatest Tank Ever, the M48A5, and create a new sporting league. NASTANK, instead of NASCAR. Oh, for the record, I can put on both sides for AWI, Old French War, War of 1812, ACW navals, and we're working on Colonials

Wow, so many options… Active or inactive? Painted, painting, or bare metal? By era/genre/rules? Here is a sampling, leaving aside most of the very small skirmish stuff like Superheroes. Historical: Jousts by definition two knights equals two sides? so Knights in 28mm. Historical Aerial: WW1, Post WW2, WW2 in 1/600th: Korea, Suez, Vietnam, Falklands, "Cold War." Historical Naval: Java Seas campaigns, both sides in 1:6K. Land, 3mm Cold War; also painting 3mm ACW and Napoleonic forces but not sure I will ever find a set of rules that satisfies me for army level command games. SF AeroSPACE: 5150FC/CC/SN – spaceships/space fighters can "change sides" depending on scenario played… (Non-GW) SF: FGU's Aliens races, several "1970s/1980s era" Power Armor Human forcess in 25/28mm; several small skirmish forces in 15mm; 6mm Micto-armor combined arms including Power Armor. (Non-GW) Fantasy: Dwarf (multiple types,) Goblins, smaller forces for Elf, Gnome in 25mm and building Dwarf/Goblins in 15mm and Dwarf/Elf/Goblin in 6mm. VSF/IHMN: Monks of two Factions (China/Tibet); Tarzan/Jungle factions in Africa and Venus (such as Hunters, Sheena, Jane Badall, and several others) in 25/28mm and 15mm – Alas only Mexican Rebels, not likely I will ever get the "bad Guys"/Government side built so that doesn't answer the OP. In development: Competitive Violence League (Future "American Football" sports in 5150 setting,) and Ancient/Fantasy/APOC "Gladiator" combat; planning for WSS in 15mm (want 3mm, may have to go 6mm for a bit.) Yes, "(Non-GW)" was an intentional commentary… |

Too. As in many. Or, all of mine. Build both sides and you are always guaranteed an opponent. Might be a solitaire game. But each side is guaranteed an opponent. |
