Hi, I have just released a new online booklet on War of the Spanish Succession, at the weblog where I'm hosting my home publishing adventure: desperta-ferro-ed.blogspot.com In spite of name, my "Desperta Ferro! Wargaming Guides Series" has nothing to do with the excellent Spanish language magazine devoted to Ancient and Medieval warfare, despertaferro-ediciones.com , who have kindly allowed me preserving my original naming, as long as it keeps being a wargaming free resources publisher and nothing else. This time, the newly released booklet is not any uniforms & flags guide, but a limited campaign game that, under the name of Defiant Principality, deals with a generally obscure, little known WSS scenario --albeit a quite signifying one to us Catalans: the Two Crowns massive campaign for the ultimate pacification of that Principality after the Allied withdrawal from the Peninsula.
Worth to be noted that this is not a definite releasing, but some kind of preview instead, aimed at letting eventual interested gamers to take a glance on it and eventually comment or contribute to its improvement, before a real release scheduled by the first week of 2012. Dude! Where can I get that 28mm mule and driver on page 4? |

Sorry, Sir. They're actually 15mm. The man is Minifigs, while the mule is a plastic 1/87 scale donkey from Preiser. |
