Let's try not having any new boards for, say, six months. Will the world end? Only needs two options, yes or no. So many bizarre ones recently (Utter drivel board? REALLY?!) Sure, I can ignore them, but having so many boards makes Dear Editor's job all the more difficult for no benefit to anyone other than the  s who want to talk twaddle. Let them twaddle off elsewhere instead. |

It's The Editor's decision to create new boards. He doesn't HAVE to. I've given up railing against board proliferation. It's quite obvious that it's what Bill wants. |

Will the world end if we DO have new ones? I have never had a problem with New Boards, and for the life of me, I can't understand why others do. Dear Editor would not have put up Utter Drivel for a vote if he did not want it in the first place. ALL Polls are at his discretion. Ahem. Amen.
If I were Dear Editor, I would pre-program all Polls to give the result I wanted anyway. But, that's just me.  |

Of course, if all the control freaks would go and play on the motorway instead of trying to bend TMP into what they think it should be there'd be no need for threads like this. |
