I have just up-loaded details of my 28mm Successor armies, including some photos of my Ptolemaic pikemen and imitation legion:

These photos are just a snap shot of what is completed (all bar the shields). All the pike blocks range from 24 to 40 figures strong.

More to follow soon.

Most excellent: glorious paint jobs plus a decent size of army. Couldn't ask for better. Except more armies, of course!

Very nicely done Raglan – base work on the pikes was thinking outside the box material.

Garry,

Wait until you see some of the other units, I have incorporated some ruined egyptian architecture. The results are far better than I could have wished for. At the moment, I am really please we how the two armies are starting to look. Next stage will be to paint some extras including a camel train complete with merchants.

The Syrian Wars web-page has been a real inspiration for this project: link

Agree witb you about the JJ site – need to paint my camels, including a 'giant' one from A&A

I have used some of the A&A Palmyran infantry for Seleucids but they would also work as Ptolemaics.

Your suggestion for Egyptian ruins is one I may take up – if only for the Command stands.

Cheers

Garry
