Trying out some new ideas for a Napoleonic semi-historical campaign. The rule modifications put an emphasis on character role playing to some extent, with a bizarre subjective system of 'glory points' being issued to players on the whim of the referee. Other than that, trying out a replacement of the stock IGOUGO mechanics with a card activation system for a bit of battlefield friction, and period feel. Its far from perfect, but having great fun with it so far : Part 1 : link |
