I turned this Siku toy:
Into this:
over the weekend. Very easy paint conversion and very cheap to do. (the track is an old TT triang 9'' rail section on a bit of cork tile, in case you were wondering) I'm not sure what I'll do with it but it will look nice on the table as a bit of scenery in the meantime. :O) Jim link |

I have been working on some 1/95 scale (for 15mm figs) metre gauge railway stuff. Paul at Firedragon Games has my first diesel loco 3D print for casting, and hopefully it should be ready for release in the new year. To go along with it are a whole range of track sections (points, straights, curves with a 10.5mm track gauage) and several wagon types, including bogie mineral carriers a bit like the model shown above. The 3D prints have been ordered from Shapeways and I hope they'll be with me before Christmas. I'm also working on modelling a wider range of rolling stock, initially working on those used in the former USSR. These were exported to a number of Soviet friendly countries, so should be very usable in particular for African nations. Will post images on my website ancientbuzzard.co.uk as soon as I get the models. Andrew |
