I predict Orson has a hissy-fit before it starts or halfway through and the project fails. Finding that many good little kid actors to satisfy his artistic vision and protecting the trick ending will be a tough nut to crack. For those that read the book it can hardly be a better movie especially if it devolves into being about teenagers instead of little kids. Then again the promise of just the right amount of money

To be honest, not so sure this would work on the big screen. Going to see it anyway though. |

I always imagined it with green wire-frame graphics like that 3D tank game in arcades. Hmm, even my sci-fi is retro now :-( |

Found this to be a great book until the last few pages of "Happy Ending" rather than "extermination" |

I still think the best screen format for Ender's Game would be high-quality blended animation. Think Titan AE-style. Then you can show the children aging properly, have no limit on how much time you can spend showing Battle Room maneuvers, and the s don't have to be CGI cartoons in a real-life movie. -Chris K. |

Ahem: YouTube link The Trailer is up, gents. Harrison Ford as Colonel Graff, and Ben Kingsley as (an apparently Maori) Mazer Rackham. |
