Cast-on shield blazons do not count!

I did Henry V many years ago. That was a lot of work. grin.

A friend actually painted Charles the Bold, and that was very impressive.

Decals or transfers don't count either!
They must be hand painted.

Not that anyone will pay any attention to my feeble attempts to impose some rules and structure on this topic. grin

Scotland – Urquart – family Coat of Arms for a friend. 3 white Boar heads on red field. Painted it on the shield, his surcoat, and the horse cloth in 15mm without a do over. I was much younger than with much better eyesight, and I already had painted about 20 other knights prior to this one.

Lord of Gruthnyse – 4th from left in this link – although I would like to do Sir Edmund Thorpe's.

I did the family name on a Grenadier knight for my Fantasy Warriors army, Per pale azure & gules, three lions rampant argent. The lions are not that good but it looks OK from arms length.

Keith, from Scotland, a very long time ago as a gift to
a very pretty girl – who turned out to have a very black
heart, indeed.

Back before you could buy them printed fom the pros, I hand-painted eight X mid-18th century KuK Hungarian Regimentsfahnen, the green ones with the coat-of-arms in the middle and the tri-color hounds-tooth edging. In 15mm. Darn near went blind. No really, it was those flags that ruined my vision, not the other thing.

I'm doodling on a flag for a company of Confederate volunteers, the Sucks County Lincoln Sodomizers. Company motto, "Certes Os Bellam Habes!" I think I'll make the flag a Bonnie Blue, but what device shall I paint in the center? 25mm scale. I'm taking suggestions.

I reckon Lord Vetinari's arms are an excellent design to paint up. Disregarding the tricky scrollwork of course…

All the Duchy of Brunswick flags in 15mm!

Herzogfahnes and Bataillonfahnes shown here: link

The First Battalion flags include the ducal coat of arms. My painting was impressionistic at this size, but recognisable::

Argent, a singly arched bridge gules masoned argent fracted within and orle of lozenges sable.

Now if my shields would quit breaking or getting scratched…
