coolyork, before the arrival of Khurasan's excellent (and hopefully growing!) range of Chaco War miniatures, I always thought that Peter Pig's Assault Guards (pack #31) would work for Bolivians, since they both wear a similar peaked cap. I haven't investigated uniform details for the Paraguayans, but judging by photographic evidence and suggestions, ACW Confederates might work. I'll tell you this much, and that is if I wanted to game the Chaco War in 6mm, I would employ similarly-looking figures.

Good luck with your project, coolyork! thumbs up

Eureka's 1941 Filipinos would make dandy Paraguayans:

Will there be any further releases in the Khurasan range? The basics are covered decently well, but having more packs is always a good thing for gamers!

Khursan Paraguayan squads are very troubling. Guayan Indians were not Machette welding savages charging to death and glory like Lopez's men in the War of the Triple Alliance in the preceeding century. As Khursan's site points out they were adept at infiltaration. If it was possible to get the Irregular's Chaco line from Silver Eagle, I might go with those. Maybe some of you like ordering from England. I do not!

I did order from Irregular, really no troubles at all. Shipping is becoming problematic, but my overall cost for figures I wanted (and ones that Khurasan are not currently making) was manageable. Communicating with Irregular was easy, and using PayPal made the transaction a snap. One of these days I will post comparison shots of the Khurasan and Irregular figures.
