Some wars are just plain silly: Anglo-Swedish War (1810–1812)- No fighting actually took place, Sweden decalred war on England just to satisfy Napoleon. Anglo-Zanzibar War (1896) – lasted 38 minutes. You couldn't game it in that time. Pig War (1859) – OK, not a real war. But it did involve a Capt. George Pickett. |

Anglo-Swedish War (1810–1812)- No fighting actually took place, Sweden decalred war on England just to satisfy Napoleon. That to me sounds like a most excellent war. No-one died. |

1969 Soccer War ( link ) between El Salvador and Honduras. A war where you really can say both sides lost. Neither side gained anything and both were much worse off politically, militarily, socially, and economically then before they started fighting. |
