Is it just me, or are there some issues with the RSS feeds? I subscribe to the 'General' feed, and it hasn't been updated since October 14. Looking through the feeds list, October seems to be a common end point (apart from the All Headlines feed, which ended in August). Did I miss an announcement? Cheers, E. |

RSS – Rations for SS troops? Is that what SS feeds on? What does it mean and what does it do? I am not joking, I am just curious. |

RSS feeds are an alternative way of getting info on new site content. I use an RSS reader on my phone which allows me to quickly see which websites have new content (and get a bit of info on what the content is) without having to go to each website individually. It is quick, easy and low bandwidth. I used to think that RSS stood for 'Really Simple Syndication', but this link tells me that it stands for 'RDF Site Summary'. |

Thanks, that was a good explanation. I see this a lot on various sites but until your post never wondered what it does. |

I haven't upgraded them to match the new Hobby News system yet. |
