First off, I don't hate Jar Jar.

Second, killing him would just make him a martyr and that would defeat the movement to erase Jar Jar.

Third…was he that bad? His comic antics endeared him to a new generation…much like Howdy Doody did for some of our elder TMP statesmen (state, of denial that is :)

But seriously, he was goofy and distracting…you could almost forget that creepy kid when Jar Jar was on screen.

Why the choice of the voice? I suspect the same person had a hand in picking that deadpan little boy.

Don't think too seriously, Capt G. Jar Jar's just a cartoon-like character in an entertaining movie. Some like him, some don't. So what? It's just entertainment.

My advice, for what its worth (and I mean this sincerely) – I suspect you're actually a very earnest chap. Nothing wrong with that. But that very earnestness may be preventing you from seeing how your 'over-sensitive' response to such a trivial topic is turning you into a laughing stock without your even noticing it.

So I would take 28mmMan's advice … er … seriously.

Arteis for the most part I'll agree with you with the exception about me being a Laughing Stock,that I won't and don't agree with.
