In a recent article in Battlegames magazine, Diane Sutherland explained how to create your own vineyard scenics. Do you have any vineyards for your wargaming tabletop? * yes * no, but I would like some * no, don't feel the need |

Yes, now that I got one from Battlefront for "free" for subscribing to Wargames Illustrated. Look damn fine too! And we used them a bit for our Cassino Infantry Aces campaign. Dale |

Yes,for my ancients and renaissance.I scratchbuilt them, using green scouring pad strips, fluffed a bit and flocked, then glued onto posts. Also I did a Middle Eastern type, with a low stone wall as a wind break, and trails of flock on the ground.Apparently its a different style whereby they allow the vines to trail on the ground.I have a friend who built some, using clumps of sand painted puple to model bunches of grapes! |

I have been toying with the idea of N-scale railroad trees at 8 the package becoming 1/72nd scale grape vines for a vineyard. |

No, but one of the gentlemen in my gaming group has a lovely set that I need to copy. I really like them as a different terrain piece – not just hills and forests and rivers. |
