Hi All,

Another post here has reminded me to post a quick note about the Points System the AWC has developed for Lasalle – we originally published this on the Auckland Wargaming Club Website back in July 2010 – but for those interested who did not see the post on the Lasalle Forums a few days ago we have now gotten around to putting up a new updated version which is available on my blog at Wargaming.info

The points are primarily designed to provide a way to 'cost' historical OOBs and the "Army Builder" lists in the rule book (to facilitate scenario & campaign design, and provide alternate options for Tournament organisers wishing to use historical armies, etc). They can of course also be used for building fictional lists too, but obviously don't have any 'safeguards' built in for cheeze or such so rely on people making an effort to 'be historical' in their designs.

The main changes from the original have been to get the costing balance for cavalry, some esprit & similar values, and off-table reserve forces right as a result of our play testing.

Hope this is of help or interest to someone who hasn't previously seen it.

Cheers
