Hi Guys One of my friends is looking to add an E100 or a Maus tank to his Gruntz force. He is currently using his FOW models with some Mecha and PA support. So the question is does any one know of a manufacturer of one of these tanks? Cheers Matt |

I had the Peter Pig version, til I sold off all my 15mm stuff. Great model. HUGE compared to even a Tiger II. |
| comstarhpg | 04 Nov 2011 5:55 p.m. PST |
So apart from the Maus from Peter Pig is there's no E100 out there in 15mm or 1:100 ? |
| Wolfprophet | 05 Nov 2011 5:56 p.m. PST |
Nope. No one's really been into the idea of making any of the E-series tanks it seems
.very disappointing. Agis N. made a couple out of other tanks though
think it was an E-100 and E-75 he built off a King Tiger and a Panther? |
| Jakar Nilson | 05 Nov 2011 8:06 p.m. PST |
Yes, but those were 20mm vehicles. |
| comstarhpg | 06 Nov 2011 2:50 a.m. PST |
Well Maus it is then! Cheers for all the help :) Matt |

Dragon do the Maus and the E-100, these tend to be available fron LHS, e-tailers, ebay etc. in 1/72 As for the mouse, the even do the prototype version with the open unarmed turret. also Pegasus Models produced the maus, E-25 and two other paperpanzers. link |

I think Peter Pig is the way to go for the Maus. I was coveting their model of the Maus at the Reading Warfare show last week. I really do need to buy a couple they make great alternative retro assault tanks but I have so much other work to do at the moment! |

After reading this thread I bought a Peter Pig Maus and I was more than satisfied. About $20 USD, a week to ship to the US, detailed resin hull and turret, metal gun, hatches and treads. Its about the size of a mouse. After adding a couple of BF command figures (so the Mickey Mouse hatches could both be open) and some wire for the antennae, it is my new FoW objective marker. Right along side my Eureka sourced pack-mule train marker designating a supply line. Seems appropriate to the Hitler method of running a war. |

Right, now I just need someone to do a 1:100 scale P.1000 and I will be happy. |

Talk to Dennis / Heer46 for some of his 1946 tanks or Forged in Battle for Katzchen, E50, Coelion, E100, Maus, T44, Uralmarsh and of course Pz1000 Ratte! (I know that as I type this, some poor group of Santa's little helpers are making one for me!) See Peter Pig for Maus, Panther F, Kugelblitz, Panther G + Infra Red |

Actually on this subject JBR is designing the Karkpanzer(S) for the Karks now. As some of you may know the Karkpanzers are sci-fi versions of the WWII "E" series vehicles, and the Karkpanzer(S) ((S) for "schwer") is heavily influenced by the Maus and E100. It's been simmering the past month or so and I hope to have it completed before the holidays and then cast in the first quarter of 2013. It will have a tank destroyer (well, more like mech destroyer!), artillery, and assault mortar version as well, those with a fixed superstructure rather than a turret. The first of the vehicles, the Karkpanzer(l), is a light tank destroyer and will be released in a week or so, along with a bunch of new Karks. The medium tank, the Karkpanzer(M) along with its anti-aircraft version, the Karkpanzer(F), will hopefully be released in January or February 2013, but it really depends on when the caster gets it to me. There was a miscommunication with the caster on cleanup of the print for the Karkpanzer(l), so I have subsequently had the piece cleaned and re-cast -- the photos of the model that dwartist painted unfortunately do not reflect the appearance of the Karkpanzer(l), but here it is anyway:
Print lines or not, it's a splendid paintup! I may blur the print lines in photoshop in order to minimise them, as they are gone from the revised castings. |

Haydon I like the clockwork goblin stuff and will be getting some in the new year :) John that looks spot on for a WWW2 German superweapon ;) but I agree the mold lines are very visible though :( paint shop may be a way to sort them out for web shop use :) can't wait for cleaned up version to come out :) Cheers Matt |
| khurasanminiatures | 14 Dec 2012 4:54 p.m. PST |
They're actually not mould lines, they are print lines. I've had them removed. |

I am really looking forward to the Kark panzer now. |
| keeper Nilbog | 16 Dec 2012 11:33 a.m. PST |
Really happy about the Karkpanzers (any alt WWII stuff is good), as you mention more Kark's as well – been putting off an order until these were availible (and it hurts, so much loverly stuff) Looks like January/February will be an expensive time. |

Recieved some E50's and 75's from Denis (Heer 46) last week. Bloody good gear! Honest, I had six vehicles, no cleaning up to do, crisp clean detail, assembled all six in 15 mins (and that included making a coffee!) Can't wait for the E100 boys and their offshoots. |
| Moqawama | 02 Jan 2013 11:50 p.m. PST |
Heavytrack, could you please post a comparison shoot of Heer46's vehicles close to some other 15mm SF vehicles? Like Rebel Minis', Combat Wombat's or Khurasan's
|
| heavytrack1 | 03 Jan 2013 11:13 a.m. PST |
Moqawama, sorry mate, can't help there, I'm building up a force to fight 'operation Unthinkable' so I'm getting all the 'E' series and all later war vehicles, no sci fi I'm afraid |
| Moqawama | 03 Jan 2013 12:59 p.m. PST |
Well then take a pic of them on a centimetered mat
or one with inches marked on it as well! |
| comstarhpg | 03 Jan 2013 5:11 p.m. PST |
That would be great Heavytrack if you could take a picture on a scaled mat and even have them with a 15mm figure if you have any to give a better idea of scale :) Cheers Matt |

Forged In Battle makes both |
| (I make fun of others) | 18 Apr 2013 6:43 a.m. PST |
The E-100 was rejected by Waffenamt in favour of the Maus in 1944, wasn't it? So even in an alt-history setting where the Germans continue to fight into 1946 (shudders), the E-100 would still not be fielded. I like the Forged in Battle models very much, only issue is that they have the base cast onto them. The Heer 46 stuff appears to be even nicer than the FiB and they don't have the bases cast onto them. |
