Still, never mind, the most important part of TMP now seems to be working fine – the post counts. Less than 180,000 characters to go until I pass 6 million. Not sure I'll manage that before Christmas mind. |

Apparently the bargain server upgrade wasn't so much of a bargain. It was supposed to be "newer, better" – the new pricing was just a correction to current prices rather than the older, higher prices. OK, I was working on Hobby News upgrades, but am diverting to the server issue again… |

Five full minutes to get back to this thread… Second post today went doolally over cross posting;
"ERROR: Crosspost database error – try again?"
Tried to cross post again but the original option had gone from the pull down list, tried another relevent forum
and got a 504 Gateway Time-out; "Gateway Time-out
The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application." Good Luck! |

It was supposed to be "newer, better" I know, I have been on the receiving end of newer and better before. Since then I have taken the "If it aint broke" position on things. |

Tech support reports: About 30 minutes ago, you were limited to 6.4 GHZ CPU and 4GB of RAM. On inspection, you are only using about 1.5GB of RAM consistently. However, your CPU usage (@6.4GHZ) is 100%. I lifted the resource limit on your CPU to 12.8GHZ and your usage immediately shot up to 9.8GHZ. This is where you're sitting now. Let me know if this improves things. |

Cross posting is slow – just put a new message on the terrain / paint / tools board and it was taking 20-30 seconds to come back with the drop down. People often say I cross post too much anyway  |
