i'm looking to find dice (d6?) that has "severity" instead of numbers – e.g. "minor", "graze", "major", "extreme", "critical"
. the idea would be to use a d12 hit location die and this "severity" dice to roll for damage. i saw that chessex has a d6 "cricital" dice (XQ0616) but no pics so it's hard to know if that works. if there isn't any i could use a d3 – 1 = minor, 2= major, 3= critical |

Well, you could just use the numbers, and make a chart for them, for people to easily review, e.g. like a flipchart. 1 = graze 2 = minor 3 = moderate 4 = major 5 = critical/extreme 6 = dead or, you could reduce the number of injury bands to three, and go with 1 – 3 = minor 4 – 5 = major 6 = dead if you don't like the linear damage model. This one is probably more accurate, in the real world, for certain types of injuries. Use a D12, or D20, if you need more granularity for the types of injuries as well. |

Chessex ( link ) can custom make dice like this .. but I have never seen something with this exact verbiage I would have thought that Evil Minions ( link ) would have had something similar .. but they do not seem to :( Regarding Chessex (XQ0616)
I have emailed my buddy who makes the custom dice for Chessex .. to see if he can shed some light on this |

Response from Chessex That stock code refers to once of the old Armory designs we purchased after The Armory fell down. Unfortunately, we only bought the dice, but not the molds so we have no means to make more and those dice are long gone. I am sorry. |

I bought some blank dice for this sort of thing. I'm not sure where I got them from, but someone must have them. then they can say anything you want them to. |
