Very nice! Are those the chaps Barry Lyndon stole the horse from?

Cardinal Hawkwood28 Oct 2011 3:33 p.m. PST

Bewdy Cardinal!

Shouldn't the Brit ones have Royal Blue facings if they are General Officers?

Cardinal Hawkwood30 Oct 2011 7:49 p.m. PST

no not really there was no "proper" generals uniform for brits at this time..if they really were generals they would have their sashes about their waists but this is Foundry we are talking about..

Cardinal Hawkwood03 Nov 2011 4:43 a.m. PST

black velvet breeches on the Hessian..Frederick the Great favoured black velvet riding breeches for most of his life..

The Austrians French and Spanish were notable for their distinctve Generals uniforms, the Prussians were not, the only way you knew if somebody was a Prussian general was by the feathered border to his hat..
