I guess I would have to add long mantis-like claws to them too:

Dan, I don't think this is even an issue. The creature from Unearthed is such a blatent Giger alien ripoff, you can easily use one of the many available versions of those creature with a little snippy snippy and some green stuff. -Eli |

Yeah. I see that much. I guess that I like how two tiny changes (the tail angle and the long arm claws) seem to make the creature a little less like a man in a rubber suit. Being hunched over and keeping the knees closer together as it stands and walks helps too. Dan |

I gotta say, I like the creature from the first three pics better. That thing from the last few pics looks like a Hormagaunt, not that it does you any good in 15mm. Unless you wanted to use a Hormagaunt as a really big version of the critter

Looks like you need PF to sculpt an unarmed version of the right-most figure in this pic:
Or go with Rebel's Raptorz: link Chris K. |

Chris, The position of the legs on those Rebel Raptors are definitely the closest thing. The Khurasan Demons are too human-like in stance. I guess I could raise the tail angle on the Raptorz and add to the length of their claws. Thanks, Dan |

Yeah, you could hack together the raptors with arms from these Khurasan Mantis Stalkers.

It's so much a current GW genestealer that it's not funny. Take off the second pair of arms and add a tail. ----- Warren B. minisculpture.co.uk |

GW used to do some metal Genestealer familiar's which came with the Tyranid Genestealer Patriarch, they were tiny and just about perfect for this unearthed creature.

@AVAMANGO – I have two of those! I had been saving them for a 15mm Genestealer Cult, but now I'm probably going to go with Khurasan Infiltrators as the "purestrains." Chris K. |

Hey Chris well if you want a thrid one the Genestealer familiar above is currently on Ebay but the seller wants a silly price for it. auction |

OMG. That picture looks perfect. Too pricey for me though. :( Dan |

"It's so much a current GW genestealer that it's not funny. Take off the second pair of arms and add a tail." Not even close. Looks more like a hormagaunt now that I've seen the movie. Though, I did see a couple aliens lately that looked exactly like genestealers. one of them being the aliens in cryo in the first X-files movie Fight the Future. Genestealer design now is rather interesting
.their body looks like a fetus, then you add monster legs, two sets of arms and a nasty face only a Tyranid queen could love. Almost feels like they should absorb genetic material and change their own shape as well as infecting future generations of humans. |
