Does anyone know whether the Spanish style buildings being sold by Grand Manner, and Empress Miniatures are compatible with each other?

Are similar types of building availabel anywhere as card/paper models? 28mm size preferred.

Thanks in advance.

Not paper or card, but we have a Mediterranean range that might be some use, this will take you to the correct page on our web site – link
They come painted as you see them in the pictures.

The way I would describe it is that the Empress buildings are quite 'refined' while the Grand manner buildings are more 'chunky'. Both are excellent and can sit on a table together. I would say that Grand Manner are best for skirmish games while Empress are well suited to 'big battalions'.

Check the home page, it says rigid foam so presumably no lift off roofs for putting figures in as they appear solid. Look nice mind.

The Miniature Building Authority do a small range of ready painted Spanish style buildings which I have in my shop:

They are made of rigid polyurethane foam, so no lift off roofs. But they are very robust and light, so no more hernias or shattered scenery… Our heaviest model, the Mediterranean church, is only 0.22kg. This means they are some what cheaper to ship overseas, provided the order will fit into the 2kg weight and size limits for Royal Mail standard airmail.

Lovely stuff but my budget dosen't stretch that far. Where can I get doors, windows and roof tiles for scratchbuilding?
