Further to my Some 28mm Hundred Days Photos & Battle Reports post here's a couple more battle reports of games we've played recently: The Crossroads This was our first attempt at a larger Lasalle Battle – using a C. S. Grant Scenario and loosely based around Quatre Bras (significantly shrunk down) which the forces calculated using our own points system. It saw a strong French Division (& Heavy Cavalry Brigade) take on Picton's 5th Division (as it was at QB with Best's Hanoverian Landwehr) supported by about half the Brunswick Corps and the combined 5th & 7th British Light Cavalry Brigades. Lasalle: The Trouble With Tribbles Which has nothing to do with Star Trek – we reverted to standard Lasalle Army List Forces from the rule book with just 1 Support option but played a custom Scenario designed for use at the (then) upcoming Call To Arms (CTA) tournament in Wellington, NZ (August 2011). This scenario saw a game where there were 3 objective markers instead of 1 and both sides were treated as 'attackers'. Hopefully these are of interest and/or enjoyment for someone
? John Wargaming.info P.S. As with the previous post I've cross-posted to the Napoleonic Gallery Forum as there are a lot of close-up shots of units, etc

Now that is a game I'd have love to participated in. Can't wait until I return from Iraq to my own gaming. Seeing games such as this certainly gives me the inspiration to keep improving on my own collection. |
