As some members of Emperor vs Emperor already know, I'm currently running an Imagi-nation adhered to that 18th century gaming community ( emperor-elector.blogspot.com ). However, that one What-if-Nation ( what-if-catalonia.blogspot.com ) holds a particular feature with respect to most Imagi-Nations in there: its clock is set to 1713, close to an end of War of the Spanish Succession, instead of to mid-century (WAS, SYW and so) --for its main storyboard is a somewhat alternate aftermath of that global war.
Therefore, in spite that a good number of international interactions have been previously discussed with other EvE gamers, I'm often forced to design straightly by myself many other events --along with the local gaming mates helping me run all this-- with no other help than common sense.
Well, the matter is that one such events should be developed just now. A major meeting is to be held at Schönbrunn Palace, where Emperor Charles VI has summoned some of his dignataries --those Viceroys most closely related to my Imagi-Nation ( link ).
Some EvE gamers will perhaps recall an ambush scenario</a> I had posted for proxy gaming: link -which was the prelude to this new scene I'm planning.
My major concern at this respect is my huge ignorance about protocol issues
. I know by no means what my starring character ( link ) should meet when getting inside Palace, what should the development of meeting look like, or even what personalities should she meet there. Therefore, I would be most grateful to anyone willing to orientate me about the layout to set, so that I can give to the scene an ambiance likely enough.
Suggestions about EvE dignataries present at Schönbrunn would be welcome too
--not to tell about storyboard suggestions, of course.
Naturally, ultimate purpose of Emperor Charles is officially unkown, although rumours have spread in Court about some form of agreement with Louis XIV on a particular issue hindering Rastatt conversations so far, so that everyone is now guessing what relationship does this have with the meeting itself.
