I'm thinking of adding some squiggly camouflage patterns to this but I'm not sure if I should go light or dark over the basecoat? Any suggestions?

Go for some sandy colours and maybe a light brown or tan |

If you add all the decals paint windows, wheels etc and a few more highlights, camo may be one step too far and hide the other detail. |

I am tending to agree on Titchmonster and pmwalt similar suggestion: such a nice wash and base job, it might not be necessary to camo it. Think of it as a cost reduction measure by the government. |
