Day of Battle 4 – Demo Game – The Battle of Fieldstone Fellow Knights I have begun a Solo game posting on the site. It is labeled The Battle of Fieldstone. dayofbattle.com I had a lot of fun playing this game solo and creating the Warlords and armies from scratch from the new 4th edition rules. So far I have posted the Warlord and army creation web page and the deployment web page. I will get up the turns later today and over Monday. I intend to create 2 more warlords and fight 4 battles total for each and track their honor points for the final winner. So far for this battle my feudal German lord gained 73 honor points even though he lost or rather surrendered. This gained him an increase in his esteem, social rank and 2 skill points. My feudal French baron who won the battle didn't do as well in honor points. He gained 47 honor points and increased his esteem and social rank and gained 2 skill points. All great fun and played solo very well. Here is a link right to the page. link |

Chris, I put up a note about Day of Battle on the HMGS-Midsouth page. ( hmgs-midsouth.org ) Thanks for putting the effort into the 4th edition. I glanced through it and it looks great. Can't wait to try it out. Pete |

Hi Chris, I bought the original years ago and think that I will buy a copy of the new set with the changes that you have made at the next con that I attend (Cold Wars?). Glad that you have stayed with them, writing rules can be a difficult thing. Allen |
