These have just gotten started, more or less, in the mini world. assuming these are around long enough to cover the period/armies you play, would you buy them? (Do these have any viability?). |

I must have missed these! Who produces them and what period? |

Yes, 'spose that would have been helpful. That I'm aware of, only "The Plastic Soldier Company" make WWII miniatures in 15mm boxed sets so far. Infantry and AFV's: link link link |

I might be interested in hard plastic minis in plastic, but only if the details are still pretty crisp and the price reasonable. I'm not sure my painting style would work if the details are too shallow. Soft plastic is a game killer for me. I keep meaning to look at the WWII stuff "The Plastic Soldier Company"is doing, but I need another time period to work on right now like I need a hole in my head. Jeff |

All plastics come in plastic |

Under the usual assumptions (mini quality, reasonable price, the right period/army) definitely yes. |

Vehicles and terrain (i.e buildings) I would. Open minded about miniatures. |

For me, no. The lower cost of the plastic 28mm stuff now means I can plan to game my periods in 28mm. Periods like WoR, AWI, ACW, Napoleonics, colonials, are now all viable in 28mm for a lower cost, making 15s redundant for me – I'm selling them all ! Absolutely. I painted up a pack of Plastic Soldier Company T34s and I love them. |

I just assembled the plastic T34s I bought at H-con yesterday and the day before. Next to the resin ones I also worked on they were a breath of fresh air. I would definitely get more. For infantry and cavalry from other periods, sure. I'd happily buy 15mm Eastern Ren stuff in plastic. I'd be all over a 17th century Russian army. I doubt anyone would do it. |

I guess it depends upon the quality and price of the figs, and if they are way cheaper than metals. If only a little less expensive, I'll stick to metal. Same goes for vehicles. |
