My Empress US infantry minis arrived yesterday, and I've decided that I'm going to paint them as Marines. All the MARPAT tutorials I've found so far use woodland instead of desert. Does anyone have a color scheme for use in desert MARPAT?

Ambush Alley has one in their new rule books. Don't have my books with me but I think it was the new FoF rulebook. It also might be on their forum I will have to check.

I went with English Uniform for the basecoat. It looks pretty close to Coyote Tan.

For the rest of the MOLLE gear, should I just pick whatever random olive drab-ish color I have and go with it? It looks like that gear is pretty diverse.

Oxford…let me know which Woodland MARPAT tutorials you've found…I've been looking high and low for them…for over two years..finally found a method to do it myself…

I keep finding desert MARPAT info when I was looking for woodland…then again I am also doing it in 15mm…

Murphy: unfortunately I didn't bookmark any of the Woodland tutorials. But this one looks promising:

On a related note, does anyone paint their Special Forces units in any other scheme other than MARPAT? My Marines could easily by SEALs or whatever.
