Not the slithering type or Mr Plisken. That bloke from the video game metal gear solid in 28mm. My son wants to play 'Hour of Glory' as a modern spy game.Personally I prefer Bond or those men from U.N.C.L.E. Thanks for your help. |

Aren't those of Snake Plissken, the character Roosta specifically didn't want? Do a Google image search for "Solid Snake", that's the name of the character from the MGS games. |

I think if you were to swap the Plisken figure's head onto a Vietnam era U.S. Soldier body you'd get an excellent Naked Snake from the latter stages of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Solid Snake is a cloned son of him after all. Or if you pop the head onto one of the newer Eureka Seal Team 6 figures, you'd get Solid Snake from MGS2: Sons of Liberty. But, as for a Solid Snake ala the original Metal Gear Solid or Metal Gear Solid 4 where his aging has accelerated and he looks like hes in his 70s, you're probably out of luck. "How about GW's Sly Marbo?" Sly Marbo is Rambo. Not snake. Not even half as cool either. I think Sly Marbo has to be the one character in 40K with the weakest fluff to be honest. Yarrick has the best of all the Imperial heroes I think. They gave him that "I don't have time to bleed" mentality one would only expect from Jesse Ventura in Predator.

Aren't those of Snake Plissken, the character Roosta specifically didn't want? Yep, my reading skills are a little off. I was reading while listening to my daughter rehearse her brief about spinal columns for her science project. Sorry Roosta. I didn't mean to screw up your thread with unhelpful trash. |

"Sorry Roosta. I didn't mean to screw up your thread with unhelpful trash." Actually, without your suggestions, I wouldn't have thought to suggest the headswap option. :P So, nothing unhelpful about your posts at all! |

"Sly Marbo is Rambo. Not snake" and your point is? Roosta is looking for a proxy of a guy in a headband. Mr Marbo is the only one so far. |

No headband, but this might work

Roosta, I know a guy who converted a GW Vindicare Assassin by doing a head swap with a Necromunda Orlock with a headband. Painted him up just like Solid Snake, and did a pretty good job of it, too. Not a hard conversion, just one that will cost you some bucks, seeing how all the parts involved are GW. |

Check the Infinity line, as well. There are several useful sneaky-petes in various lines. |
