Hi All Reading about the 73 Arab/Israeli war, the Egyptian pilots started seeing easy to spot F-4s, these where the US transfers to the IDAF directly from European stocks. What colors did they use for Europe vs the SEA colors? |

The USAF aircraft in Europe were in the same scheme as the ones in Vietnam – upper surfaces in FS595A colours 34079, 34092 and 30118, undersides in 36622. There was a Phantom squadron in Spain that had one of the greens as a bright pea-green, but that was blamed on a dodgy batch of paint. |
