Hi All

Reading about the 73 Arab/Israeli war, the Egyptian pilots started seeing easy to spot F-4s, these where the US transfers to the IDAF directly from European stocks. What colors did they use for Europe vs the SEA colors?

The USAF aircraft in Europe were in the same scheme as the ones in Vietnam – upper surfaces in FS595A colours 34079, 34092 and 30118, undersides in 36622. There was a Phantom squadron in Spain that had one of the greens as a bright pea-green, but that was blamed on a dodgy batch of paint.
