A lot of us listen to music etc when painting. It seems to help us concentrate, relax, etc. Recently I've been listening to 24/7 Polka Heaven "All Polka, All The Time", on my Tune-In Radio application on my Iphone. At first it was an oddity and an amusement, but I've really started to enjoy it lately. I've also noticed that when I listen to Polka, my painting completion productivity rate seems to increase. So I wonder here if anyone else listens to Polka music while painting, or likes it at all
I can't be the only one that does right?
.right? A: Yes, I listen to it! Polka, Polka, Polka! B: Yes I listen to it for a while and then I switch to something else. C: Sometimes. D: No
I don't listen to it at all. E: Good Lord NO! Why would ANY sane person do this??? It's madness!!! F: What's polka? G: No opinion. H: I don't paint figures. I: I don't listen to music. |

No, I try to listen to something more appropriate to the painting at hand. For example, I have a nice cd of the French Republican Guard playing French army marches to listen to while painting my French, the Athens Police Department Band playing Greek military music to paint Greeks by, and Sequentia's Edda, a reconstruction of 11th Century Icelandic music to listen to while painting my Vikings. Now, if I were painting a Polish army . . . Grelber |
