Those top two are way cool! I would definately want those in 15mm.

Highland studios is coming out with Space 1889 in 15mm

Alas, the most recent Dark Eldar aren't in 15mm; some of the masks would be PERFECT.

plenty of Elvesn and Dark Elves… for blasters you could just take crossbows and trim off the bows.

They look okay… not perfect… but remove the tip of the bolt, and the crossbar itself and you have a pistol!

Or you can leave the crossbow in place and paint it metallic as a shuriken gun.

You mean like the robed and masked figures in the very first post?

If so, count me in for sure!!! Or simply start with heads with masks.

Right now the only option I see would be to add masks (and weapons) to figures of cultists (Rebel Minis, Pole Bitwy or others).

MUCH closer! They sort of bring to mind some Pulp evil minions. Most I'm thinking of are 25/28mm, but I wonder if that's another area worthy of search.

I really like that desert Vulcan look, but with face masks, to ward off the blasting effect of sand on Mars.

How about Critical Mass new Praesentia ancients with a little bit of work 'ie' new hands and putty over the feet they would not look to far from what your trying to source.

How about fantasy wizards and clerics or even historical Persian leaders in their long robes with the Astro Miniatures heads?

DOH… why didnt i think of this before, if your looking for a single figure why not try and get a GW Epic Eldar Avatar they are about 18mm tall, i have plans to use one to lead my 15mm Eldar host.

I think you've hit it right on the nail. Persians in Persian dress seem perfect! All I would need to do is add a mask and a staff weapon and I'm set.

You may want to look into packs from other areas too such as Chinese, Ottoman Turks, Byzantines, or anything culture that wore long armor or robes.

This could give you the variety you are looking for.

Is there any reason you can't add masks to the the miniatures suggested?

If you are looking for just a mask add-on then the monks and such would work. If you want ornate dress along with the masks, then some of the historical figs might work still.

I'm just so confused. Not sure which direction I should go.

I want them to look alien in dress, but I want their attire to look solemn and desert-wise.

Maybe I should do both and have the simpler "monks" for the grunts and the more "ornate" historical figures for the higher caste.

If so, how many variants are there per set? Did you add more poses than the 4 pictured? And how many copies of each come in a set?

Hello Dan,

Sure, the Cultists are still produced but will be back on sale next week when I pickup fresh castings.
There are currently two copies each of the four variants in a pack for a total of eight miniatures. There are several more variants [mostly hooded] in the works, with ranged and white weapons as well as mutants and women cultists. Your posts just added more variants including SF weapons and masks. Post me your ideas and needs, so I can expand the to do list.

Just looking at the last post there and the miniatures on the link one could add a few brass rods to make them look more like energy weapons, last time I looked nothing in the rules "so to speak" says all weapons have to look like human made weapons. like "Chewbacca's crossbow" just vertical is all

Actually, cutting off the bow arms leaves you 'clenched fists' for standard weapons, like pistols, though the pose would be admittedly weird.

Again, not a bad thing.

Also, some early firearms had long 'stocks' that could be held by the second hand.

Still, a 'someday' project, alas.
