The Lounge article on Nicholas Cage got me thinking. Ok, so must of us don't believe in such things, but…

…If we did, which celebrity do you think would be the most likely to be a vampire? The only criteria is that they must either still be alive or that their death came under curious circumstances.

Some suggestions:

Nicholas Cage (gets my vote)
Johnny Depp
Brad Pitt
Sean Connery
Angelina Jolie
Cher
Steven Tyler
Sam Elliot
Matt Damon
Bill Murray
Adam Sandler (he does have a kind of strange jawline)

Throw in some more suggestions!

Connard Sage17 Sep 2011 8:11 a.m. PST

Keef Richards.

Wolfprophet17 Sep 2011 8:14 a.m. PST

I don't think Bill Murray and Sean Connery qualify as suspects. Just because a man looks good in a red velvet cape with high collar doesn't make him Dracula. The rest however, I'd gladly put a stake to their hearts to test the theory. Worst case scenario, we see a few new A-list and B-list actors trying to fill their places, amirite?

Redroom17 Sep 2011 8:49 a.m. PST

Richards is a ghoul imo

2nd Walken

Sloppypainter17 Sep 2011 8:52 a.m. PST

Joan Rivers…sucks blood to keep looking…er…young?

Ranger32217 Sep 2011 8:53 a.m. PST

I could definitely see Wilem Dafoe or Christina Ricci…good suggestions!

Major Mike17 Sep 2011 9:09 a.m. PST

Bob Barker

CeruLucifus17 Sep 2011 9:26 a.m. PST

The best (most obvious) candidates are those celebrities who just don't look as old as they must be. Many of those suggested above aren't old enough to meet this test; they could still be vampires of course, but how would we know?

Anyway:

David Bowie
Cher
Dick Clark
Chuck Berry

Keanu Reeves. All the qualifications – stands like he has a pole up his backs … back, long pale face, slick black hair, totally expressionless ….

(NB Message from my personal Vampire – every Sunday, Fantasy RPG day – that "we are NOT all stereotypes thank you very much!")

Dick Clark, the eternal teenager.

Liberace. Ruffled trim, candelabras….

abdul666lw17 Sep 2011 1:06 p.m. PST

Dead in strange circumstances:
Elvis (still alive and well on Ganymede),
Michael Jackson -far too pale for an Afro-American.

Alive (well, afaik):
Nick Cave
P.J. Harvey

Way too many blood suckers to limit to a poll.

Oh I am sure some soft hearted thin skinned types will cry foul, but really they are overpaid and spoiled for what is after all just pretending to be something or someone else.

Yes there is talent (in some) and many are easy on the eyes but the amount they are paid from our ticket prices is unreasonable. Perhaps Wolfprophet has an idea, but then others would just take over and then there would be new twits telling us their opinions on subjects they have no real idea about.

rant off

"but then others would just take over and then there would be new twits telling us their opinions on subjects they have no real idea about."

Thankfully we live in a world where it's possible to block at least 90% of news as I have. Sadly, the last 10% getting through no matter what I do is gradually giving my brain an aneurism. Damn you society!

oldfartgamer 5117 Sep 2011 3:32 p.m. PST

The Rolling Stones and any other 60's/70's RR Group that still tours and draws the babes!!!

Mister X17 Sep 2011 3:41 p.m. PST

keef richards.

Old Bear17 Sep 2011 3:52 p.m. PST

Would Jim Morrison qualify?

Covert Walrus17 Sep 2011 5:17 p.m. PST

Kevin Spacey – Apart from his acting, what else do we know about him? Nothing . . .

Stefani Germanotta – Enough said.

Mary Elisabeth Masterson – Try and work out how old she is from her roles sometime; Though the same could be said of Alysson Harrigan, it's so much more pronounced . . .

Grelber17 Sep 2011 6:47 p.m. PST

I note Ranger322 asked for celebrities, and not the far easier politician category.
Grelber

Lion in the Stars17 Sep 2011 9:35 p.m. PST

Dick Clark
Mich Jager

Connery has pretty much stopped aging, now, so he is a likely suspect. So has Willem Dafoe.

Khusrau18 Sep 2011 2:08 a.m. PST

Micky Rourke? Or maybe he just looks weird…

skippy000118 Sep 2011 5:40 a.m. PST

Jon Hamm from 'Mad Men'

Steve Buscemi would make a good 'Renfrew'.

Lady GaGa

Huscarle18 Sep 2011 8:53 a.m. PST

Another vote for Christopher Walken, plus
Elizabeth Hurley
Kim Cattrall
Roman Polanski

Mickey Rooney

Grey Matter 1318 Sep 2011 8:29 p.m. PST

Definitely like the Lady Ga Ga vote. I'll second it. How about Hugh Hefner? He has the whole "seduction" thing going (or a hell of a lot of Viagra)…

Lion in the Stars19 Sep 2011 2:40 a.m. PST

Nope, just piles and piles of cold hard cash.

Ranger32219 Sep 2011 9:56 a.m. PST

Oh man…if Elizabeth Hurley were a vampire…I mean, could she get any hotter?

SaintGermaine26 Sep 2011 8:26 a.m. PST

Dick Clark

Fisherking26 Sep 2011 10:57 p.m. PST

Jane Austen
Charlotte Bronte
Emily Dickenson
Virginia Woolfe
Enid Blyton

stenicplus27 Sep 2011 4:53 a.m. PST

Elizabeth Hurley

Cetainly able to glamour people into doing what she wants. Engaged with various other Mums at her kid's school to lift share then oddly failed to deliver whenever her turn. Alledgedly.

Murvihill27 Sep 2011 9:19 a.m. PST

Definately Defoe. Then you'd have a vampire playing an actor playing a vampire who's playing an actor.
