…way over the line?
…a bully?
…perfectly within his rights?
…losing it?
…in his own house and doing whatever he wants?

Additional suggestions, please.

Since the Editor has suggested that poll suggestions magically make their way onto the site, this will surely appear as a poll in a couple of months time.

Unless he deletes it Colin.

goragrad14 Sep 2011 11:57 p.m. PST

Or not.

Sparker15 Sep 2011 2:08 a.m. PST

I'm going to plump for

'perfectly within his rights'

The ability to distinguish between a genuine victim of bullying and an attention seeking drama queen is becoming something of a lost art these days….

Old Bear15 Sep 2011 2:54 a.m. PST

I'd add 'posting way too much at the moment' to the list. I don't think it can be seen as coincidence and gives ammunition to those still smarting from the recent turbulence.

I don't think I said "magically," but I did say that if a suggestion doesn't violate forum rules, there's no reason it can't become a poll eventually.

Who the hell cares?

Read about BLANKETY-BLANK MINIATURES AND ARGUE ABOUT GAMES!

Who would win in a fistfight between Gandalf and Julius Caesar?

(My money's on Caesar. He was a mean Bastard.)

For Sauron's sake, people GET OVER IT.

……really the OFM?

alien BLOODY HELL surfer15 Sep 2011 5:39 a.m. PST

Does it matter? If people don't like it they won't come here / or if already here they'll leave. Some will just visit the site and stay out of things, and others will continue to kiss posteria and have brown noses. It won't change. Either don't question anything, or go elsewhere. Simples.

Beowulf Fezian15 Sep 2011 5:58 a.m. PST

Perfectly within his rights. TMP is NOT a democracy, it is a private venture owned and managed by Bill as he sees fit.
The last thing a manager needs is somebody jumping at his throat and questioning every single thing he does. And the attackers in question are not his partners or even shareholders. Why should he be answerable to them?

Sigwald15 Sep 2011 6:03 a.m. PST

a) Who the hell cares?

b)Read about BLANKETY-BLANK MINIATURES AND ARGUE ABOUT GAMES!

c)Perfectly within his rights

All of the above!

Bill, as editor, can do as he pleases. If people like what he is doing they'll visit and support it. If not, they'll go elsewhere. Fellow TMPers can determine their enjoyment of this site by what they choose to read and in which activities they will participate.

The ability to distinguish between a genuine victim of bullying and an attention seeking drama queen is becoming something of a lost art these days….

Reminds one of the old comedy routine where a guest comes out to applause and, with one hand, gestures for the audience to stop while with the other, encourages them to continue clapping.

…threads like this are like a bad rash.

They never really go away and are usually propogated by low rent hookers. Or so I've heard…
