Those are cool, but the scales are all over the place: 1/10,000, 1/50,000, 1/2,256, 1/4,222. Are all the different scales meant to be used together? |

That was weird. When I first saw them, all I got on the screen were the 1/10000 ones. Dan |

Those lancer class frigates look like something entirely not what they're supposed to be. |

Odyssey's stuff is great. The 1/10,000 is the main range; 1/50,000 was done as a "fleet scale" alternative that'd allow for things like the Super Star Destroyer, while the odd sounding scales are to fit with readily available plastic kits, especially the Revell Republic cruiser (1/2256.) |

Can anyone tell me how long those models actually are? Since I have no idea of the actual size of a Super Star Destroyer I cannot figure out the size of the miniatures. Thanks, Al |

I don't have it here in front of me, but a Dreadnaught FREX is probably between 2 and 2.5 inches long, while the Victory-class SD is around 3+ in long
Yes, I have a bunch

In 1/10,000, 6cm for the Dreadnaught and the rebel assault frigate, 9cm for the Victory, 12cm for the Mon Cal cruisers. The little escorts can be quite tiny; about 15mm for the corvettes, double that for the escort frigates. |

Darn, everyone makes Trek or StarWars in sizes too large or too small for me. That is what I get for having tried to stick to ships compatible with Agents of Gaming's Fleet action minis. |

Dunno about Trek, but there's Star Wars stuff knocking around in 1/20,000 as well that I know of, which I think must be in the Fleet Action ballpark

Interestingly enough, 1/10000 is in scale with Firestorm Armada. I'm hoping to find an Imperial SD in that scale

The old Kenner die cast is pretty close; not the most detailed model, but paints up OK, and is easily found for not very much on Ebay. Alternatively drop Odyssey a line and see if his is likely to reappear; he used to do one, but I seem to recall the moukds died and he's meaning to re-master it some time. auction – The Kenner one; price varies wildly on Ebay; an occasional search for Diecast Star Destroyer ought to net a cheapie
. (Don't search for Kenner; most sellers don't realise that it is

[Have just checked mine – 18cm length; 1/10,000 would be 16cm; certainly close enough for me

I couldnt find the more recent 'thread" on Slipways. had it earler, so I will post this here. Buzzkill, makes a good point, so many scales. I can be confusing if you dont pay attention thats for sure. But what erk's me the most, they have the Avenger(Imperial class) SD, and the Interdictor SD but Not One Rebeal Alliance Mon Cal in the 50,000 scale. On the flip side they have several 10,000 scale Reb. ships but none of the Immperial SD's. to battle against. Frustrating. Granted, the 10,000 scale Mon Cal's look great, but I cant see throwing down 25 30 bucks for one model. Thats a big reason I just cant bring myself to jump into Armada. Beautiful Miniatures.. but just too costly for me. |
