Which glue do you prefer when assembling paper models for wargaming? |

Bill, I mostly use Aleene's Quick Dry Tacky glue. I put it on in moderation and then spread it around with a finger or or brush. This seems to aid the 'tack' and it dries quicker. Larry |

UHU Office Pen. Lowest moisture count of any glue. Solvent free. World Works recommended best. I find mine at Office Depot. For spray glues, 3M Super 77 is the best. Link to UHU pen's page: link |

I use hot glue and Tacky glue. They work exceptionally well. Thanks, John |

I just couldn't get UHU Office Pen to be sticky enough. I generally use Aleene's original Tacky Glue. If the parts have stress that tries to pull them apart, I use Aleene's Fast Grab Tacky Glue and apply pressure for about ten seconds. I haven't tried the Quick Drying Tacky Glue. |

I just use Elmer's. Takes some time to dry but he doesn't need it anymore. |

Ditto, Elmer's. There well be better, but I have found it satisfactory. |

Elmers, or tacky glue, or superglue, or UHU (though that can loose its stickiness in damp climes eventually)
White glue (as little as possible, so it dries fast) or tacky glue (which is white glue with less water in it, so dries fast) typically, but superglue is good for spots that need to be stiff and strong. |

I use superglue a lot, but I also use Elmers Glue All on big surfaces. |

I like Scotch Quick Dry Tacky Glue. Not only does it dry quickly, it sticks pretty well to other materials too. For example I use it to glue the 1:6000 carrier deck art appliques to the primed model decks. |

Quick drying wood glue. I use Bison. Works better than anything else I have ever used. |
Gungnir | 07 Sep 2011 10:09 p.m. PST |
I use glue stick, almost no moisture, so no warping. |

Elmer's. NEVER buy the store brand. and from the Elmers line, their craft bond tacky glue is su;erb. |

Pritt stick in the past but I just been given a hot glue gun so that may become my future method. x42 |

"UHU Office Pen. Lowest moisture count of any glue. Solvent free. World Works recommended best. I find mine at Office Depot. For spray glues, 3M Super 77 is the best." - completely agree. Worldworks have great support for paper modelling so do check their forum. |

Superglue and elmers. Usually Elmers, applied with a toothpick, although it takes a while to dry and needs clamping for a bit I've had the least trouble with it. |

Glue Sticks. Easy to use.

I use Aleene's Tacky Glue – white glue on steroids. |
Willtij | 08 Sep 2011 10:18 a.m. PST |
I have been using Scotch Clear Glue. I have less problems with "lumps" and warping over white glue and sticks better than glue sticks. |

Quick drying wood glue – Makes a unbreakable bound on paper after it dries |

Goo from Walthers. Great for most wargaming applications. |
