I hope that it is only temporary, but the histofig website would seem to be down at the moment: empire.histofig.com |

Aha! It is already back up. Strange

yes, but still too bad the old site with all the color plates is no longer available. Unless one has one of those archived mirror sites that displays the content, snap-shot like, from the past. I presume the IP rights passed on to someone who now charges for the material [and nothing wrong with that]. |

If you mean the uniform plates then they are there, you just have to drill down to find them. |

all I found were single figures/ in uniform of a particular regiment, not the multiple uniform depictions from the earlier version of the site. So where are these uniform plates with the 10-12 depictions of uniform details/distinctions? I've poked around and not found some of the nationalities have the old plates, but not all. or am I missing something? Are the Austrian infantry plates, with multiple uniforms there? |

rmcaras, Just found them. Go to the histofigs site and scroll down, looking at the panel on the right hand edge, where there's a link to the uniforms site of Peter Bundy(?). I think those are the plates you mean. |

I think those are the plates you mean. brigade-uniform-tafeln.de Nope, that's not them. That a link to a site selling Bunde's uniform plates. A lot of the original Frederic Pouvesle plates seem to have gone from the Histofig site following its revamp. I don't like to brag, but I had the foresight to save them all to a CD ages ago
Are the Austrian infantry plates, with multiple uniforms there? All the Austrian infantry regiments are here link Historique et uniformes des régiments, the numbers are live links. |

I have just looked and they seem to be there (at least the ones that I looked for were!). |

It seems now it has died for good… Anybody knows a mirror site somewhere? |

If you go to histofig.com it says they are under maintenance. If you use the Wayback Machine you can access much of the site, but it's a bit hit or miss for the plates. If you get to an article with a thumb-nail plate at the top you can usually get a full size version. link |
