Signals for me. 2112 is a close second. Cue the Rush haters in three, two, one

Permanent Waves is outstanding. I liked all albums, almost every single song until Power Windows. |

Well ! How about some topics on gaming !! Re RUSH – None ! |

Until I learned that they were on John Miller's "Top 50 Conservative Rock Songs of All Time" ("
as determined by me
", gotta love that Randian approach!) list, I did not really like Rush. link Now that I understand why I should love them, I instead merely tolerate them. ANNOYING voice. |

How about some topics on gaming !! I quite agree. We should hang all those SOBs who start Poll Suggestions on non-gaming topics. TMP Polls should be limited to "Favorite Vallejo Paint for Goblin vomit" or "Favorite alloy compisition for brass rods used in pinning LOTR cave trolls". |

As an album, I'd have to say Hemispheres or Permanent waves, although more of my favorite songs come off of Farewell to Kings (Xanadu and Closer to the Heart) and Rush (Finding my Way, Working Man) |

Neal Peart, who rights the bands lyrics, is much more of a liberal (really libertarian) than conservative. Interesting list anyway, that can take a song about a guy trying to get into a girl's pants and tries to paint it as a song promoting conservative values

The fact that he did not succeed makes it conservative. |

Permanent Waves. I can't wait for the Time Machine tour album and DVD which comes out in November! |

It's a tie between 2112 and moving Pictures for me. I was supposed to see them on the recent tour (where they played all of Moving Pictures) but ended up in hospital and had to miss it. :( |
Evil Bobs Miniature Painting | 01 Sep 2011 10:32 a.m. PST |
Tough one. Probably a toss-up between Vapor Trails and Farewell to Kings. |
Titchmonster | 01 Sep 2011 10:51 a.m. PST |
Moving Pictures or Signals' both are iconic of the era. One of the best live bands ever. |

Well it's hard to say since they are the Gods of Rock and Roll, but I would have to say the one I have been playing a lot of lately is FareWell To Kings. |
Space Monkey | 01 Sep 2011 2:58 p.m. PST |
Nope, never liked them
