Finally got to put the collection on the table at Skirmish 2011 Game Day in Plano, Texas on August 13th, 2011. The game won Best of Show AND Best Painted. Thanks to Rick from Flag Guy.com for making the unit flags look great and going the extra mile getting them to me. Thanks to Ken Cliffe from All the King's Men for outstanding game support and some GREAT FIGS. If you are looking into 54mm or are into 54mm, this is the way to go!

That was a great looking game! I am also in love with 54mm! I have been working on my 54mm FIW stuff. I have played in one of 79th's American Rev games and he also puts on a nice looking game.

Thanks,

John

Thenks to all! This project has been a blast to paint. I was stunned at the results. I didn't think I could paint 54s en masse well enough to look good. Ken's figures just made the diff. Highly recommend The Flag Guy's flags. They're well worth the cost IMHO. If I'm going to put out major coin for a collection, why skimp on the flags?

John…could you please post a link to "79th's Rev war games"? I'd like to see how the masters do them to improve my collection.

Wow – those did paint up really nice. I like the job you did on the mounted officer. And the units really look great. I agree with you on the flags. They are worth the money.

There is no link to post. I can barely operate a computer and I don't own a camera. I have, however, been giving serious consideration of buying a camera and learning how to post pictures of the big boys on some type of blog, or whatever it is called.

79th…get a phone that has a camera and post them to Photobucket. Copy the link address and paste it here. I'd sure like to see some of your games to learn.

Thanks!
