I've just added a quick look at the 'Art of Tactic' Katyusha model to my review page

Quite a handy little addition, this one I think

Zvezda are turning out some lovely models in this scale. I got a couple of their Opel Blitz trucks at the weekend – excellent kits, epecially when you consider they are only 3 quid a shot. |

Good review, I heartily agree with you about the difficulty of bending the engine hood cover to fit. It just doesn't work! I find the Zvezda truck model a bit overcomplicated and fiddly, but at a price or $4.00, that's a minor complaint! |

They've updated the kit so the hood and panels come in three pieces. So, that annoying trick of snapping the one piece, but not too much, is finished with. |

Glad to hear! I had to put together a dozen of the trucks about a year ago and nearly drove me crazy! I agree completely with tuscaloosa far too complicated (but seems all their truck models are) but glad to hear they at least did something about that hood! At $2.99 USD a kit through NWS Online, suppose not too much room to complain. |

Pictures or it didn't happen, as the kids say with their new-fangled snapchats and Kardashians and whatnot.
The bottom is the old. The top is the new, and you can see that the engine has had 3 pins added to it to secure the panels, and detail removed. This means you can't have the engine exposed for repairs like in the old version, but that's a small price to pay to avoid the ugly snap in the 90% you don't want for dioramas. |

I might look into some, I gave up on the old trucks after 1 model. |

I got 4 this week, looks like I got the old version with the awkward bonnet |
