Is there manufacturer UK or europe that makes the Litko like playwood bases? |

I bought a used Dremel table saw for $30 USD which works great for making based from 3mm plywood. If there isn't a Likto-like company you might look into buying a hobby table saw. |

The problem seems likely to be a lack of easy supply of thin plywood at a reasonable cost. I have tried to obtain 2mm ply but can only get it from modelling suppliers at exorbitant cost. |

It's the price of 1.5mm ply which puts most people off. We've looked at it, but it's around 5x the price of MDF. |

If mdf is laser cut does the edge still come to bits or is it somehow bound together. I prefer ply as it gives a smooth solid edge. Does anyone laser cut in 3mm/4mm ply? |

Never had a base edge come apart on my Warbase mdf – so I would always recommend them. Great service, great bases |
