Is there manufacturer UK or europe that makes the Litko like playwood bases?

I bought a used Dremel table saw for $30 USD which works great for making based from 3mm plywood. If there isn't a Likto-like company you might look into buying a hobby table saw.

I use Warbases warbases.co.uk for MDF rather than plywood

They cut to size and service has always been good

Order direct not from the eBay shop

East Riding is MDF.

The problem seems likely to be a lack of easy supply of thin plywood at a reasonable cost. I have tried to obtain 2mm ply but can only get it from modelling suppliers at exorbitant cost.

It's the price of 1.5mm ply which puts most people off. We've looked at it, but it's around 5x the price of MDF.

If mdf is laser cut does the edge still come to bits or is it somehow bound together. I prefer ply as it gives a smooth solid edge.

Does anyone laser cut in 3mm/4mm ply?

Never had a base edge come apart on my Warbase mdf – so I would always recommend them. Great service, great bases
